Create Products
What is a Product?
The Product is a compost pile, windrow, batch or mix. Products are the center of your production and at the core of all process management actions.
How do I create a Product?
Click on the
"Create Product" button, always located on the upper right corner of the screen, and complete the form.
The Product Form
Name
Must be unique
Field pre-populated with Organization Name followed by current stamp of year, month, day, hour, minute, seconds
Intake Date/Time
Product start timestamp: Year, month, date, hour, minute
Processing Method
Pre-populated with Organization Default Method setting
If the setting is No Default, then the user must select the method
Sets the processing Method for the Product
Pre-populated with Organization Default No. of Measurement Positions
If the setting is No Default, then the user must select
Sets the number of Measurement Positions for the Product
Description
Text description required
Pre-populated text description and can be updated at any time
"Created by [First] [Last] for [Organization Name]."
Preset to Active, switch to Complete when a Product meets completeness metrics which activates finishing fields available:
Outturn Date/Time
Product finish timestamp: Year, month, date, hour, minute
Product Consumer
Consumer of finished Product
PFRP Met
Preset to Not Met, switch to Met when Product meets PFRP metrics
Product Location
Once a Product has been created, it can then be assigned to a physical Location, or Site.
Click
"Update Product" and then click on the Location tab.

Set Location
Select a Location (or Site) and set the date and time in which the Product was placed at the location, then click on the "Set Location" button.

Your location is now included in the Location History.
Remove Location
When a Product is currently set to a Location you can remove it from the location by selecting the date and time of its removal and then click on the "Remove Location" button.

Delete Location
Location records can be deleted from the Location History list by clicking on
action icon. This action cannot be reversed.
