Settings

Only an Organization's Primary User is able to manage Settings. If you do not see this Action Icon, you are not the Primary User.

What are Settings?

Settings are configurable options that allow users to customize the behavior or functionality according to an operations production methods.

How do I update Settings?

Click on the Settings button and view the options in three tabs. Click on the respective tab you manage:

Organization Settings

Details

All organizations are unique in name and require a location:

  1. Name

  2. Country

  3. Address

  4. City

  5. State

  6. Postal/Zip (Code)

  7. Time Zone

    • Performance analysis time zone.

    • AEYD will always standardize Product Performance analysis to this setting to ensure accurate Metric analysis and assessment.

Settings

Understanding your process allows AEYD to set known characteristics to streamline as much as possible, and provide the most accurate assessments as possible:

  1. Primary User

    • User with permission to manage:

      • Settings

      • User Management

  2. Default Method

  3. Default No. of Measurement Positions

  4. Expected Processing Days

    • If set, AEYD will let you know if a product has exceeded the expected processing days.

Sites

What is a Site?

A site is a physical location where Products are positioned to move through production and a supply chain. The Product Location is a Site.

Create Sites

Click on the "Create Site" button and fill out the form.

  1. Name

    • Must be unique.

  2. Latitude

    • Assists with location insights.

  3. Longitude

    • Assists with location insights.

  4. Address

  5. City

  6. State

  7. Postal/Zip

  8. Description

Latitude and longitude coordinates can be obtained by searching the address in a maps application (Google Maps) and then right clicking on the address point or look at the address bar for coordinates.

Update Sites

Click on the "Update Site" button and update the form.

Ingredients

What is a Ingredient?

An ingredient is a compost feedstock and refers to the organic materials that are used as inputs in the process of making compost. Each ingredient requires knowledge of the following composition:

  1. Nitrogen

  2. Carbon

  3. Carbon:Nitrogen Ratio

  4. Bulk Density

  5. Moisture

Create Ingredient

Click on the "Create Ingredient" button and fill out the form.

  1. Ingredient Type

  2. Name

    • Must be unique.

  3. Description

  4. Nitrogen

    • % dry weight

    • Must be a number

  5. Carbon

    • % dry weight

    • Must be a number

  6. C:N (Carbon-to-Nitrogen Ratio)

    • Represented by Carbon weight

    • Must be a number

  7. Bulk Density

    • Pounds per cubic yard

    • Must be a number

  8. Moisture

    • Moisture content % wet weight

    • Must be a number

  9. Source

    • Where the Ingredient came from

  10. Measurement Type

    • Provides insights on where the Nitrogen, Carbon, C:N, Bulk Density, Moisture values originated:

      • Average

      • Median

      • Single Sample
